George Hwang has appeared before Singapore’s apex court, the court of appeal, in a landmark case on Norwich Pharmacal order and successfully overturned the High Court’s decision. George has also acted in transactions where the products are novel. He has designed and developed Personal Data Programme for some of Singapore’s most sensitive personal data.

George has been commissioned by World Intellectual Property Organisation and presented his report to the Standing Committee on Copyright and Related Rights in 2021 and 2022.

He is the co-chair of Copyright Committee, LESI.

Besides Singapore, George has worked in Hong Kong, Bulgaria, the Bahamas and the Belgium. He speaks English, French and Chinese.
