Application Details

The provision of publicly-accessible Arts entertainment events such as plays, stand-up comedies, dance performances, music performances (such as variety shows and concerts), art exhibitions and literary readings (such as play-readings and poetry-readings), require an Arts Entertainment licence unless exempted. Who can apply
Any individual or Singapore-registered business entity or organisation may apply for an Arts Entertainment Licence.
As the applicant, you can apply personally, or authorise someone to apply on your behalf.

Note
The applicant and the authorised person (if applicable) must be one of the following:

• A Singapore citizen.
• A Singapore Permanent Resident.
• A foreigner with a valid Singapore work pass.

If you are applying on behalf of a business entity or organisation:

• You should be an employee, perferably a member of the organisation's management.
• You will need to provide the organisation's Unique Entity Number (UEN), issued by a recognised UEN Issurance Agency (such as the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA) or Registry of Societies (ROS)

Licence Fee: $10 or $5 per day depending on event type

• Unscripted performances e.g. dance, performance art, stand-up comedies, playback or forum theatres
