Application Details

An Animal Research Facility (ARF) licence from NPARKS/AVS is required to conduct any scientific work involving animals. This licence must be obtained before commencing any animal-based research.

The licensee is responsible for:

1. Adhering to ARF licensing conditions
2. Complying with all relevant legislation
3. Following NACLAR Guidelines

The Animal Research Facility is subject to inspection by NPARKS/AVS.

2. Supporting documents required for submission?

   The following documents are required for the submission:

   1. Floor plan/layout of facility
   2. Facility Organizational Chart (indicating reporting channel between the IO, applicant, management, IACUC, veterinarian, staff and researchers)
   3. Approval from other relevant authorities for the facility
   4. IACUC Appointment Letter
   5. Accreditation Certificate (Mandatory only when the applicant is an accredited member such as AAALAC.)
