This licence is only for individuals with no Unique Entity Number (UEN).
Application Details
To practise veterinary medicine in Singapore, a veterinary licence from NPARKS/AVS is required. The following qualifications are generally accepted for licensing:
Veterinary degrees from institutions accredited by:
- American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA)
- Australasian Veterinary Boards Council (AVBC)
- Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS)
Graduates from non-recognised universities may qualify through passing one of these examinations:
- RCVS Statutory Examination for Membership
- North American Veterinary Licensing Examination (NAVLE) via ECFVG
- Australasian Veterinary Examination (AVE)
Veterinary specialists may apply for licensing if their board certification is recognised by RCVS, AVMA, and AVBC, enabling them to practise as specialists in the UK, US/Canada, or Australia/New Zealand.
